amphibious assault bulk fuel system
The petroleum, oils, and lubricants discharge system used to support US Marine Corps amphibious assaults and maritime pre-positioning force operations. It consists of 5,000 or 10,000 feet of buoyant 6-inch hose deployed from a landing ship, tank in amphibious assaults, or a maritime pre-positioning ship in maritime pre-positioning force operations.
